For the bowling coach, the BCCI is considering former India pacers L Balaji or Zaheer Khan for the role. Zaheer Khan possesses extensive leadership expertise and has held the position of Director of Cricket Operations at Mumbai Indians, while Balaji has contributed as the bowling coach for Chennai Super Kings.
The BCCI is of the opinion that either Zaheer Khan or Balaji would be more suitable for the position of bowling coach, which is a role the BCCI is seeking to fill with someone capable of nurturing the next wave of fast bowlers, including Harshit Rana, Mayank Yadav, and Tushar Deshpande, among others.
