FanCode, India’s premier sports destination, will be live-streaming the upcoming fourth season of The Hundred which starts on July 23. Both men’s and women’s competition will be played at the same time, and the final is scheduled for August 18 at Lord’s.
This year’s edition promises to be high octane with some of the game’s top men’s, women’s player participating in the competition.
India will be represented by Smriti Mandhana, who will turn up for defending champions Southern Braves while Richa Ghosh will be playing for the Birmingham Phoenix. Some of the other players in action include Jofra Archer, Andre Russell, Kieron Pollard, Shimron Hetmyer, Ellyse Perry, Suzie Bates, Jos Buttler, Nicholas Pooran, Harry Brook, Phil Salt amongst others.
England captain Ben Stokes too is expected to make his comeback after appearing in the first season. Interestingly, Stokes will be turning up for Northern Superchargers, coached by legendary all-rounder Andrew Flintoff.
The eight participating teams include Birmingham Phoenix, London Spirit, Manchester Originals, Northern Superchargers, Oval Invincibles, Southern Brave, Trent Rockets and Welsh Fire. Oval Invincibles are the defending men’s champions.

The Hundred has always grabbed attention with its unique format and rules. Each team faces 100 balls, and bowlers can deliver either 5 or 10 consecutive balls. Ends switch every 10 balls, and the powerplay lasts for 25 balls. The usual six-ball over doesn’t exist in The Hundred.
