Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) is all set to take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the first qualifier of the ongoing IPL season on Tuesday in Ahmedabad. Prior to the eagerly anticipated match, Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has conveyed his best wishes to the team for the playoffs.

Kane had a successful individual performance in his first season with Bayern Munich, having played 45 games and scored 44 goals with 12 assists. However, the team experienced a trophy-less season, a rare occurrence for the club since 2001/02, emphasizing the high expectations for success at Bayern.

The English captain will be seeking to unite with his national comrades for two friendly matches against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Iceland, leading up to the 2024 Euros in Germany, a nation that has witnessed his exceptional skills firsthand.
Kolkata Knight Riders, led by the dynamic trio of Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, and Rinku Singh, will look to showcase their batting prowess. Despite the absence of Phil Salt, KKR remains a formidable team.
However, they will face a tough challenge from Sunrisers Hyderabad, who have added the aggressive No.3 batsman Rahul Tripathi to their lineup. The real test for SRH will be their ability to adapt to a slower black-soil pitch, as demonstrated in their previous match against Gujarat Titans in March.

Regardless of the pitch conditions, KKR’s spin duo of Narine and Varun Chakravarthy present a constant threat to their opponents. However, KKR must overcome the challenge of entering the qualifier match without recent game time, as they have faced back-to-back washouts in their previous matches, leaving opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz out of IPL action since mid-March.
